Since we were so close to Seattle, we decided to take a quick detour so we could see a city we had never seen before. Unfortunately, my aunt, who lives in Seattle, had already headed to California for our family reunion so we were not able to visit with her in Seattle. We did manage to see quite a few sites in a short amount of time. It was cloudy, rainy, and cold. Abraham really loved seeing the Space Needle. We will definitely go back to Seattle someday when we have more time to explore. |

Idaho
We took a slight detour on our journey to California to visit my dear friend, Angie, and her husband Nate, in Lewiston, Idaho. It was definitely worth the detour to be able to spend time with them.
We were quite happy to find this bathroom on our way. |

Yellowstone National Park
We took a day to explore Yellowstone National Park, the first national park. There are so many things to see there that a day does not do it justice, but we did the best we could! Geysers and mudpots were amazing to see, as well as the many other unusual geothermal features. Yellowstone River and Yellowstone Lake were beautiful sites, too.
