The weekend before my mom had her surgery we cut down the big tree in our yard. It was right on 38th Street, which is a busy street. My dad did most of the cutting and a lot of thinking. Here are some pictures of the tree going down, and then the big ordeal of removing the stump!
This is a picture of our house this winter. You can see how big the tree was in the background!
And this is our new view! No tree in the way! The fence is also gone.
